Retired Vice Admiral of Royal Canadian Navy Joins Modest Tree

Oct 3, 2022:(Halifax, NS) Modest Tree is pleased to announce Retired Vice-Admiral CraigBaines has joined ModestTree’steam as a strategic advisor, for the company’s efforts in the marine, aerospace and defence industries. Vice-Admiral (ret’d) Craig Baines retired from the Royal Canadian Navy, having most recently served as the 37th Commander of the Royal Canadian Navy.

A 35-year veteran of service to Canada, Vice-Admiral Baines’ career in the RCN included sea-going appointments domestically and internationally and staff officer positions throughout his service. VADM (ret) Baines brings extensive experience in leadership, training and readiness, sustainment, managing major projects and organizational change through innovation. He brings a unique perspective on the demands in the sectors that Modest Tree technologies seek to solve in addressing sustainment and skills gaps.
