Modest Tree was awarded the Innovation Leader Award at the ACADA Gala Dinner hosted by the Atlantic Canada Aerospace and Defence Association (ACADA) during DEFSEC Atlantic in Halifax, Nova Scotia on October 3, 2022. The ACADA Industry Excellence Awards category of Innovation Leader recognizes a company for demonstrated significant research and development investment to develop and commercialize a new innovative product or service that has contributed to building the capability of the aerospace, defence or security sector in Atlantic Canada.
Modest Tree is recognized for extensive R&D in development of technologies that integrate enterprise data to improve the way complex assets (machines, engines,equipment on land, sea and air vehicles) are operated and maintained. Modest Tree’s Tech Companion is a software platform that integrates enterprise data to streamline the way complex assets are operated and maintained through modules such as digital work cards and 3D visualizations of an operations /maintenance process.
Three other Atlantic Canadian companies also received awards, Forest Protection Limited won the Business Development Distinction Award, Composite Mats Canada (CMCI) won the Most-Promising Start-up or Business Diversification Award and GeoSpectrum Technologies Inc. won the Diversity and Inclusion Excellence Award.
