Modest Tree Tees Off at the Gage Soldier On Charity Golf Classic

Modest Tree is out on the green again, this time in support of a good cause: the 6th Annual Gage Soldier On Charity Golf Classic, taking place this Thursday, June 17.

The tournament, which is held annually on the Gage golf course in Oromocto, New Brunswick, raises money for Soldier On, a program run by the Department of National Defence and Canadian Armed Forces Transition Group. Soldier On is an integral part of their commitment to improving the quality of life of ill and injured veterans, serving members by providing resources as well as opportunities for members to accept and adapt to their mental health or physical injuries/illnesses through active participation in physical activity, sport, and creative programming.

So far, the Soldier On Fund has provided support to over 8,800 members.

Modest Tree joins Calian, Commissionaires, Resurgo Insurance, Canex, Art’s Bar and Grill, and Shawn Miller Golf as sponsors of this year’s tournament.

The Halifax-headquartered software development company just opened their new office in Oromocto, New Brunswick on April 30th and were eager to start giving back to their new community:

“We are excited to be able to offer support to such an important cause,” states, and we are especially thrilled to be participating in such an important event right here in Oromocto so we can engage in and give back to our new community that has welcomed us so well.”
